Spring IT Training To offer TeckChek Online Assessment
Spring
IT Training, the technical and end-user IT training
company has announced that it has extended it's relationship
with online assessment providers TeckChek.
Following
the success of the online assessment tool with its
parent company, Spring Group, and the desire for more
blended training solutions, Spring will offer TeckChek's
assessments to all of their training customers immediately.
With
the growth in the e-Learning arena, and the increasing
focus on return-on-investment (ROI), TeckChek's range
of more than 150 separate tests covers all aspects
of IT technical training.
Spring's new contract with TeckChek will provide its
customers with a benchmark against which they will
be able to measure the effectiveness of training programmes,
calculate ROI and track their workforce development.
The courses will be easily accessible for Spring customers,
who will be given a simple username and password enabling
them to do the tests online at a time convenient to
themselves.
Individual employees will be able to monitor their
own progress, and highlight specific training needs.
TeckChek tests are highly regarded within the industry
for their objective, generic and competency-based
approach to training, and are one of the most rigorous
testing tools available.
By using these online assessments, organisations are
able to create a bench-mark within their organisation
against which all employees are tested.
Spring's
e-Learning Director, Deborah Taylor-Young says "We
are always looking for new ways to meet our customers
training needs, and the TeckChek products will be
particularly useful for our training customers. For
clients who have not invested in an existing e-learning
infrastructure TeckChek assessments will offer a way
to track and assess their employees' progress as part
of a continuous development programme.'
'The
cost effectiveness of TeckChek's assessments provides
our customers with a flexible and quality assured
means of conducting ongoing testing and workforce
development. Continued tracking and assessment allows
business to effectively identify return on IT training
investment, workforce development and training requirements."
David
Beer, Director, TeckChek adds "Spring Group is one
of our biggest customers in the recruitment sector
and our range of IT skills tests have been a valuable
resource for several years. It is on the strength
of this tried and tested relationship that Spring
Group's IT training division integrated our IT skills
tests into their training portfolio, enabling Spring
to offer high standard online training and assessment
throughout its business."
